At House of Hound Hydrotherapy we are passionate about everything to do with your dogs wellness and health. 

 

Our state of the art facilities are designed with safety and comfort of both dogs and owners in mind.  Our aim is for all our clients to have a positive experience when they visit us.

 

Established in 2017, House of Hound is Huddersfield's only independently run centre.  We serve the community in both West and South Yorkshire with easy access to the M1. We offer hydrotherapy by means of both a heated swimming pool and state of the art aqua treadmill. 

 

All our staff are trained Hydrotherapists and/or qualified Physiotherapists. 

 

Clinical Director and Lead Hydrotherapist Victoria is a fully qualified in Canine Hydrotherapy, with additional qualifications in advanced treadmill and anatomy and physiology.  In addition, Victoria is also a Canine Arthritis Management (CAMs) Level 1 Advocate and holds a special interest in this field.

Victoria is also a qualified Mantrailing Instructor and Assessor with additional qualifications in Scent work, holding a highly recognised City and Guilds in this field as an Instructor. Victoria is also qualified with Scent Work UK (Levels 1-8), UK Sniffer Dogs and is an Accredited Hoopers Instructor and Dog Parkour UK Instructor.

House of Hound is registered and regulated by NARCH (National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists) which allows clients to rest assured, your dog is in safe, qualified hands. 

 

Lisa Emerson is our ACPAT Chartered Physiotherapist (CAT A) who attends the clinic for weekly land based sessions.  Physiotherapy compliments all aqua therapy for both healthy dogs, in the case of maintenance or rehabilitation clients.
